We at Zomblers are happy to announce that our team finished 5th-6th in the ESEA Advanced Season 48 playoffs. There have been many ups and downs throughout the season, including changes to the roster, scheduling issues, and so on, but we were determined to keep moving forward on the road to success.

Unfortunately, our run was cut short in round 6 of playoffs by “My Life Be Like” who defeated us in a best of 3 series 2-0. However, the game was very close, as MLBL won the first map 13-10 on Nuke and MLBL took the second map, Ancient, by a score of 16-13 in overtime.

Our team is incredibly proud of our achievements in Season 48 and eagerly anticipates the opportunities we can bring to Season 49, here is a Q&A with one of our star players Sam “Sam” Donaldson.

If you reflect on Season 48, what is one thing you learned?
“Managing negative emotions better in game.”

What do you believe your team needs to improve to further your chances next season?
“Improve communication and spacing while executing sites.”

If you had to choose one opponent you’d like to face next season, who and why?
“The team we lost to last in playoffs because we should have won that match 100%”

What is one goal you have going into Season 49?
“Making ECL, maybe attending a lan together.”
